SAVA EX-7 SL – A Solid Entry into Serious Cycling

As someone who just got into biking this year and has been training consistently for triathlons, I was looking for a road bike that struck a balance between performance and affordability. I didn’t want to spend thousands on a high-end model like Canyon or Factor (as pretty as they are), but I also knew a cheap bike wouldn’t cut it for the kind of training I’m doing.

After a lot of research, and maybe a leap of faith given the limited reviews on these bikes lol, I landed on the SAVA EX-7 SL. Been riding it for about a month, I can confidently say it’s been solid.

Fit & Feel: The bike fits me well and feels great on the road. Lightweight, responsive, and comfortable. Saddle isn't the most comfortable, but if you're particular you can swap it out.

Components: The Shimano 105 groupset is clutch. Shifting is smooth and reliable, and everything feels solid and well-built. Been on some bumpy roads so far and it's holding up.

Value for Money: For the price, you’re getting a carbon fork, decent quality components, and a good looking design. Definitely a step up from entry-level bikes, but without jumping into the deep end of crazy premium pricing for brand names.

Minor Issues:

The only hiccups I’ve had have been with the seat post—it tends to slip down a bit over time. I suspect I just need to tighten the bolt more aggressively, but it’s something to watch for. Also, it comes with an aero bar, which I didn't realize was really limited in terms of what you can attach to it. Some bike stuff I had (i.e, front light, bell, garmin mount etc) had been for rounder bars.
